Yes. Chirp Golf offers a variety of free-to-play daily and weekly contests for users in the United States. Be sure to check out Trifecta Pick’Em, a weekly pick-3 contest with a cash jackpot prize, and Royale Live-Play, a daily LIVE contest where you get to predict the outcome of golf shots as they unfold on live TV.

Yes. For players in select US states, Chirp Golf Daily Fantasy contests are only available to US residents in select states including: AK, AR, CA, DC, GA, IL, KS, KY, MN, NE, NM, NC, ND, OK, OR, RI, SC, SD, TX, UT, VA, WI. Players must be 19+. Be sure to check the app regularly as daily fantasy availability by state may change.

Download the Chirp Golf app for free from the App Store or Google Play and create a free account. From the “Home” tab, click “Play Now” to enter a contest, make your picks and predictions, view prizes and leaderboards, and more. You can even invite your friends and create a private fantasy-style league.

For Free-to-Play contests like Trifecta Pick’em, Royale Live-Play, or Leagues, click “Play Now” or visit the “Play” tab to view available questions and make your picks. Each winner, matchup, or prop pick is applied to the group that is selected at the top of the screen.

Royale Live-Play is a daily contest that features a gameplay session of Live picks and predictions in a fast-paced “winner takes all” format that often features prizes for 1st place winners. Royale Live-Play contests take place during regularly scheduled Live-Play windows - often during each round of a PGA Tour golf event. Check out our Instagram or weekly email for the most up to date Live-Play schedule.

Each week, Chirp features multiple “Live-Play” windows. During a Live-Play window and Royale Live-Play contest, notifications for “Live” shot-by-shot questions will appear at the top of the screen every few minutes along with a notable “Chirp” sound (turn your volume up!). Each Live question will also have a ~30-60s countdown timer. Be sure to keep your app open to play these live questions and make a pick before the timer reaches 0. Check out our Instagram or weekly email for exact times when Live questions are available.

Some Royale Live-Play contests will offer prizes for top finishers. If a contest offers a prize(s), the player who finishes in first place will become eligible for a prize. Each winner is subject to the Official Rules and a review of gameplay activity. Winners will be contacted via email within 72 hours of the completion of the contest.

Your score is determined by the +/- total of resolved questions. For example, if you make a $300 pick on a +500 prop question, you’ll score $1,500 once your pick resolves and is correct. If your pick resolves and is incorrect, you just lost $300.

If a pick is +500, it means that a player will receive $5 for every $1 used toward a pick if the answer is correct. For example: if a player makes a $100 (+500) pick, they will earn $500 if the answer is correct.

If an answer is -400, it means that a player will win $1 for every $4 made towards a pick if the answer is correct. For example: If a player makes a pick for $100 (-400), they will score $25 if the answer is correct. If a player makes a pick for $400, they will score $100 if the answer is correct.

Your balance is the maximum amount you can play on available questions for the given contest or tournament. Your balance will change after two different instances: when you make a pick (the amount you play is subtracted from your balance), and when an answer you made is resolved correctly (the amount you won will be added to your balance).

Sorry, but no. Chirp’s Royale Live-Play contests only reflects your “score” for each contest and/or league. It’s used purely to determine the contest “winner” and resets with each new contest and league. There is no real cash value to your Royale Live-Play balance or score.

A single round question is based on a single round of a golf tournament.

For example:

1) Which golfer will have the best Round 2 score,

2) Which of two golfers will have a better Round 3 score, or

3) Will Justin Thomas shoot under par on Round 4?

A live question is only possible during a Chirp Royale Live-Play window.

Live schedules can be found in the app (Chirp Royale), on Instagram, or in weekly emails. For each live pick, there is a limited amount of time to answer each question.

For example:

1) Will Adam Scott make his next putt on Hole 8?, or

2) How long will Rory McIlroy's drive be on Hole 11?

Matchup questions feature two golfers. Players must select which golfer they think will have a better score. In a full tournament matchup, the golfer with the best score at the end of the tournament is the correct answer. In a single round matchup, the golfer who has the best score for that individual round is the correct answer.

Pending ranges show the possible outcomes to your balance based on all unresolved picks and answers. The first number (positive) is the higher end of the range, which occurs if all outstanding picks are resolved as correct. The second number (negative) is the lower end of the range, which occurs if all outstanding picks are resolved as incorrect.

If Golfer A makes the cut and Golfer B does not make the cut, Golfer A will be resolved as the winner.

A league is a season-long private group that you can “Create” or “Join” to compete against friends. Each Chirp league concludes with a 3 week playoff where an overall winner is determined. The top six scoring teams of a season will advance to the playoffs where the top two scoring teams will receive first round byes.

Full Tournament questions are only available for leagues.

At the conclusion of each weekly tournament, players will be awarded points based on their cumulative weekly performance.

Weekly matchup win = 50 points

Weekly matchup tie = 25 points

1st place finish across all league members that week = 50 points

2nd place finish across all league members that week = 25 points

3rd place finish across all league members that week = 10 points

In the event of a tie on the season leaderboard, score will be used as a tiebreaker. In the event that score is the same, the number of first place finishes by a player will be used as a tiebreaker. In the event that first place finishes is the same, one player will be randomly selected as the winner. Players will not be awarded points during the playoffs and must win their weekly matchup in order to advance.

If there is a tie in a heads up League match the points are divided equally awarding each player 25pts.

Yes, whether you’re just in one league or multiple, every pick you make will get mirrored simultaneously across each of your leagues. So feel free to compete in as many leagues as you’d like, it doesn’t require more work on your part it just makes the Chirp experience more fun.

In the event of a tie on the contest leaderboard, the following tiebreakers will apply:

Tiebreaker 1: Highest percentage of correct picks vs. incorrect picks

Tiebreaker 2: Most correct answers

Tiebreaker 3: Total amount towards picks in questions

Tiebreaker 4: Randomly selected player.

If a stat is .50 or greater, it is rounded up to the nearest whole number.

If a stat is .49 or lower, it is rounded down to the nearest whole number.
